Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are there any changes in Academy leadership?

No, Korie and Margaret remain the "go to" people for any questions or comments.

2. Will the coaches change?

No. All the current Academy coaches will remain actively involved for the upcoming spring/summer 2022 season. Additionally, we are always seeking new coaches and trainers who fit the Academy philosophy and approach to skill based teaching and building basketball IQ.

3. Do any rates/fees change?

No. The Academy will continue to work flexibly with families regarding payment terms and prorating fees if needed. If you have recurring billing set up for the spring/summer season – nothing changes.

4. Does this announcement change any of the schedules for 2022?

Nope.  All the practice and game schedules stay exactly the same. If you subscribe to your Team Calendar from the website, there is no action needed. It will automatically load your Team’s activities into your personal electronic calendar.

5. Will we get new uniforms?

The uniforms will be changed at differing rates over the course of the next nine (9) months. Some teams will change in April and some will continue to use the Flow uniforms throughout the spring and summer seasons. 

6. Should I return any old Flow uniforms?

Yes, please!!  Bring to practice and give to your coach.

 

7. Will there be new gear with Chicago Sky Basketball Academy?

Yep! We will be providing both short sleeve and long sleeve shooting/training shirts which you can wear to games and tournaments.

8. What should I do with my Flow gear (training shirts, bags, etc)?

Please continue to use and wear proudly. 

9. Does the name change effect the account I set up on the website?

No. The Chicago Sky Basketball Academy website will function exactly as it did before.  Your account information is saved. The website is redesigned for the name change but everything else stays the same.

 

10. Can we get tickets to Sky games?

There will be a special discount code set up for all Sky Academy players. You will be able for purchase tickets using your Sky Academy discount. If your family would like to purchase a package of Sky tickets, we would be happy to connect you to your personal account manager. Just ask Margaret.

11. Will we have an opportunity to meet any Sky players?

We will set up meet and greet opportunities throughout the Sky season at various games.

12. Do Korie and Margaret have new email addresses?

Yes, but if you send a message using our Flow email address, it will be re-routed, so no worries. The new addresses are: korie@skybasketballacademy.net and margaret @skybasketballacademy.net.
